Carol feels fortunate to have raised her two children in Durango, a caring community with so much to offer. During the years the children were growing up she lived in a rural area of Durango and now resides in the city. She has firsthand knowledge of country life as well as city life.

Carol is a member of the Durango Chamber of Commerce and a Durango Diplomat. She is a member of the Women's Resource Center and also serves on the Board of Directors for the La Plata County Eye & Ear Program, a non-profit group that provides children and adults in need with eye glasses and hearing aids. She believes that education in the industry is essential and has served on the Education Committee for Durango Association of Realtors for many years.
