Melanie Verce

A Durango resident since 1979 and a Four Corners area native, Melanie is anxious to share her knowledge of and enthusiasm for Southwest Colorado with you. A licensed Realtor since 1984, she'll take the time you need to feel comfortable with your real estate decisions. Melanie has also earned her GRI real estate designation, which makes her a highly trained broker in many areas of real estate.

Melanie takes pride in offering a friendly, personal touch and helping to make the process an enjoyable one. In both her professional and personal life, Melanie embodies a global awareness that sets her apart. Having spent a year in Denmark as a Rotary Exchange Student, her passion for cross-cultural communication allows her a unique understanding and appreciation for the needs of her diverse clients. She speaks fluent Danish and maintains close connections with more than a handful of “siblings” all over the world, whom her parents hosted through the Rotary Exchange Program. Her passion for cultural flexibility has proved an asset in helping a variety of clients buy and sell real estate.

Melanie has a degree in “Alternative Energy”, giving her insight into passive and active solar technologies and design that she is anxious to share with you if that is where your interests lie.

A graduate of Fort Lewis College, she participates in many outdoor activities, community events and keeps spending time with her family and friends a high priority.

Counted among her interests are traveling - domestically and internationally, skiing, playing the piano, and supporting her childrens' interests in soccer, skiing, golfing and many other sporting events.
