I grew up in a small, rural community on the western slope of Colorado and moved to Durango in 2006 to attend Fort Lewis College.  Upon graduation, I found that I loved this area far too much to leave.  Our friendly, outgoing community reminds me of the laid-back small town I was raised in, but the frequent city events and active residents make Durango feel vibrant and alive.  As an outdoor enthusiast, Durango’s proximity to a variety of recreational areas is unbeatable, and is ultimately the reason I’ve chosen to root myself in the San Juans.  I am an avid mountain biker and also enjoy camping, hiking and backpacking, and Nordic skiing.  I am an active member of the Durango cycling community and have coached for Durango Devo (a local non-profit organization that works to promote mountain biking among youth) for several years.  I am an advocate for being an active voice and contributing member of your community, and as such I am dedicated to volunteering my time through local organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and La Plata HomesFund.  I live in downtown Durango with my husband, Eric, and far too many bicycles.

I joined the Durango Coldwell Banker team in the winter of 2014.  I love the fast paced environment real estate offers, and I am committed to working hard for my clients.  I greatly enjoy the continuing education aspect of real estate, so I am frequently enrolling in classes that teach a variety of subject matters.  I am detail oriented and organized, so the paperwork side of the business indulges these skills, but ultimately I am an agent because I love working with people and enjoy sharing that excitement of buying and selling with my clients.

Our first meeting with Hayley was in November 2017. We knew we wanted to move to the Durango area, but needed to explore the area. Hayley prepared a wonderful resource guide of maps and suggested places we could explore to get a feel for real estate in the Durango area. Hayley was attuned to our ideas for our new home and was able to work with us long distance over 5 months. She is attentive, professional, thorough, well versed in both the real estate of Durango and the geography of the area. Her attention to detail during our entire home buying process was excellent. We have referred her to others looking for real estate and to other brokers who need to have a contact in the Durango area.

Hayley has helped my husband and I purchase two condos in Durango. We purchased the first condo a couple years ago and the second last month. There was no difference between either experience. Throughout the entire purchase process Hayley was totally organized, thorough, and professional; her communication and follow-up skills were just as impressive and appreciated.
