Doug started his real estate career in New York - first selling luxury condos and townhomes with Brown Harris Stevens, then became Senior VP at Brookfield Properties, developers and owners of 22 properties in Manhattan including the World Financial Center, headquarters of Merrill Lynch and American Express.
He has marketed large development projects in Washington, DC , Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Exchange Square in Hong Kong and traveled to London to initiate the marketing of Canary Wharf the new 10 million sq. ft. financial center of Europe.
Doug was Managing Broker here at Coldwell Banker for 3 years and was awarded the President's Award of Honor by the National Headquarters. He was recently Managing Broker and Director of Sales & Marketing at the Glacier Club in Durango.
Doug had been a guest lecturer at the Fisher Graduate School of Business at the Ohio State University.
He has been on the Board of Music In The Mountains and is currently on the Board of the Liberty School here. Doug is involved with and supports a number of local organizations including the Alliance, The Womens' Resource Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Durango Arts Center and St Columba School.
He maintains real estate licenses in Colorado and New York.
